Acceptable Use Policy
One account per operator, no scraping or resale of our data, and no republishing somebody else’s video as your own.
Version 1.12 · In effect, last revised 2026-10-31
This document describes what TRNCH does today. This version applies from 2026-10-31. What you agreed to before stays on record, and the Refunds page and the Terms say which earlier terms a subscription keeps.
01The point of this page
TRNCH costs real money to build and to run, and one account is priced for one operator. Almost everything below exists to stop a small number of people taking the whole thing and reselling it, or hammering the servers so that it is slow for everyone else.
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. Breaking it is a breach of that agreement.
02Your account
- One account, one person. Do not share a login, sell access, or run an agency seat off one seat.
- Do not sign in from many places at once in a way that looks like several people using one account. We look at session records to tell the difference, and we will ask before we act.
- Do not make a second account, or use someone else’s, to get around a limit, a suspension or the end of a trial or a tester’s days, or to get another free trial or more than a code gives. Anyone can sign up, so we look for this, and we may end a trial or close the extra accounts.
- Do not give anyone your password. If you need more seats, ask us through [email protected].
03Our data
No scraping, no bulk copying, no competing dataset
Use TRNCH through its own screens, at human speed, for your own business. Do not extract it.
Specifically, you may not:
- scrape, crawl, spider or automate against any part of the site, including with a script, a headless browser, a browser extension, a recorder, a scheduler or an AI agent;
- call our internal endpoints directly, or use them as an unofficial API. If you need an API, ask, and we will tell you whether one exists;
- bulk-export, mass-save, mass-screenshot or otherwise systematically copy the catalog or any substantial part of it;
- use our output to build, populate, benchmark or train any dataset, index, model or service that competes with TRNCH;
- republish, resell, licence, syndicate, post publicly or give away the data;
- work around a plan limit, a rate limit or any other technical restriction, or disguise where your traffic comes from in order to do so.
What you may do: act on what you read, save your own shortlist inside the tool, and show a screen or a figure to your own team, your supplier, your accountant or your investor. Quoting a single figure with credit to TRNCH is fine. Publishing our tables is not. There is no export button and no download of the catalog. If you need your own saved list out of the tool, ask us and we will send it to you.
04Videos you download
The download button exists so you can study an advert properly: watch it frame by frame, see how the hook is built, time the cuts. That is a review use, and it is what the download is for. When the ads manager is part of your plan, it also lets you put a downloaded clip into an ad of your own; it doesn’t stop you, and the permission that needs (below) is yours to get.
The video is not yours
Every clip belongs to the creator who made it, and its music is licensed for the platform it was posted on, not for yours. Downloading a file gives you no rights in it at all.
You are responsible for what you do with a downloaded file. You may not:
- repost someone else’s clip, in whole or in part, as your own organic content or as a paid advert, without their permission;
- remove, crop, cover or change a creator’s name, handle or watermark, or the credit in a file’s name and details, or present their work as if it were yours;
- use the audio outside the platform whose licence covers it;
- use a clip in a way that suggests the creator, the brand or the platform endorses you or your product;
- redistribute the file, upload it elsewhere or sell it;
- download a clip to help someone else do any of these, or tell anyone that TRNCH is a way to get videos free to use or to get rid of a watermark or a credit.
If a creator or rights holder asks us to stop serving a clip, we will: see the Copyright page. Downloads are capped by your plan, and the cap is there to keep the feature what it says it is. Each press of download is your promise to keep these rules, as the Terms say. If you break them we may stop your downloads or close the account without a refund, and what follows from a file you downloaded is yours to answer for under the indemnity.
05The store builder
The store builder starts a page with photos from a product’s listings so you can see it take shape. It puts no one’s videos on it: a video spot takes only a video you upload. A video on your store is an advert, so everything on the Videos rule above applies to it: upload one only if you filmed it or its creator gave you written permission. You may not use the store builder:
- to publish a photo, a video, a person’s face or voice, or a brand you do not own or have permission to use;
- to upload a video you did not film and have no written permission from its creator to use, to confirm that you have that permission when you do not, or to upload someone else’s video again after we removed it;
- to upload anything but a real photo or video: a file made to harm, crash or overload a program, malware, a script or a page dressed up as a photo, an archive, or files sent to get around a size, type or rate limit;
- to sell counterfeits, or another company’s branded goods except as that brand’s authorised reseller and under the brand’s own name, or to present them as your own brand;
- to sell anything that is illegal where you sell it, or that needs a licence, registration or approval you do not have, among them medicines, supplements, weapons, and anything for children that has not met its safety rules;
- to make a claim you cannot prove (about health, results, safety, speed of delivery, popularity or other products) or a promise you will not keep;
- to promise delivery faster than your orders really arrive, to show a warranty or a money-back guarantee you will not honour as written, or to call a guarantee “risk-free” when returning costs the buyer anything;
- to run a countdown that ends nothing, a “free” offer that is not measured against a price you really sell at (or a new product’s introductory offer you do not mean to end), or a crossed-out price you never really charged;
- to show or suggest a review, a rating, a testimonial, an endorsement, a sales count or any figure that is not real (in words, or with stars or any other shape or symbol you place on the page) or a countdown, stock level or price that is not true. A row of stars reads as a rating: show one only for your own store’s real customer rating, never one copied from TikTok, Amazon, AliExpress or another seller;
- to send customers or advertising to a preview we host, or to copy our themes into anything that is not your own store.
What is on your store is yours to answer for
The builder does not refuse the words you type, and it keeps the countdown timer. You alone are responsible for everything on your store (every word, claim, review, rating, offer, price, discount, countdown or timer, guarantee, warranty and delivery promise, the settings your store starts with included) and for following the law where you sell: in the United States the FTC Act, the FTC’s rules and guides on reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465), “free” offers (16 CFR Part 251), former prices (16 CFR Part 233), warranties and guarantees in advertising (16 CFR Part 239) and mail and internet orders (16 CFR Part 435), the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the Lanham Act, the FDA’s rules on health claims, and state consumer protection law, such as California’s rule on former prices. We do not review or approve your store. The reminders the builder shows when your words read like such a claim, or when you turn on or change such a setting after your store is made, are a courtesy, not legal advice, and we keep a record of them. No reminder comes up for the settings a store starts with: they are yours to check before you publish.
We may remove a store, its preview or its files, stop its downloads, or close the account, when a store breaks this page or when we receive a report about it we believe is credible.
06The service itself
- Do not attack it: no denial of service, no injection, no brute forcing, no malware, no file made to harm our servers or anyone who opens it, no flood of uploads or requests, no attempt to reach another customer’s account, store or files, or our infrastructure.
- Do not test our security without asking. If you find a hole, write to [email protected] with the details and give us a reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. We will thank you properly.
- Do not copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software, or strip a copyright, trademark or ownership notice from anything.
- Do not misrepresent yourself, impersonate anyone, or claim an affiliation with us that you do not have.
- Do not use TRNCH for anything unlawful, or to sell anything unlawful.
07What happens if you break this
For something that looks like a mistake, such as an over-eager script or a second person on the account, we write to you and ask you to stop. For something deliberate, and for anything on the scraping or resale list above, we suspend the account immediately.
A suspension can be lifted once we agree on what changed. An account closed for a serious or repeated breach is not refunded, as the Refunds page says, and we keep our right to recover what the breach cost us.
Telling us about a problem
Abuse, a shared account, a security hole, or content in the tool you believe should not be there: [email protected]. Copyright complaints have their own process on the Copyright page.
To report a store made with the store builder, write to the same place with the store’s web address and what is wrong with it, for example a fake rating or review, a false claim, or someone else’s photo or clip.
