Refunds and cancellation

How to cancel, and why payments are not refunded.

Version 1.16 · In effect, last revised 2026-11-03

This document describes what TRNCH does today. This version applies from 2026-11-03. What you agreed to before stays on record, and the Refunds page and the Terms say which earlier terms a subscription keeps.

01Cancelling

How to cancel

Open your account page, which is Plan and billing in Settings, and press Cancel subscription. A window opens; it may offer to pause your plan for a month or switch it to Starter, beside a Cancel plan button. Press Cancel plan and the subscription stops renewing, in that one press: no phone call, no email chain and nobody to talk you out of it. Manage billing, on the same page, opens Stripe’s billing portal, where you can cancel too. The button is on your account page whenever you have a subscription that is not already set to end; if you cannot see it, write to [email protected] from the address on the account and we will cancel it for you.

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not cut you off straight away, except a free trial cancelled in TRNCH, which ends at once: you keep everything your plan gives you until the end of the period you have already paid for. The one exception is below, under failed payments.

What happens when that period ends. There is no free tier, so the feed, the product pages and your saved list close. Nothing is deleted: your saved products and your saved filters stay in your account, and they are all there again the moment you subscribe again. Credits you have not used stay on your account too, frozen, for when you do.

Cancelling during a free trial, before 17:00 UTC on the end date shown at checkout, costs you nothing and you are never charged. The free trial is for your first plan only, one per person.

02Refunds

Payments are not refunded. The free trial is how you try TRNCH: cancel before it ends and you are never charged. After that, cancelling stops the next charge and you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, but nothing already paid comes back.

  • Plans, monthly and yearly. The first payment after a free trial, every renewal and the rest of a month or a year you have started are not refunded. A yearly plan gets an email about 30 days before it renews, so you can cancel before it does.
  • Credit packs. A pack is a one-time purchase and is not refunded, used or not. Credits have no cash value: they are never paid out, and cancelling your subscription neither refunds a pack nor takes its credits away. Bought credits do not expire while your account is open; before we close an account you asked us to close, we tell you how many are left so you can use them first.
  • A charge we made by mistake. A charge twice for the same thing, or a charge after you had cancelled, is ours to fix: tell us and we refund it in full.
  • If we break something. If the service is unavailable or materially broken for more than 72 hours in a billing period and you tell us, we add the time lost to your plan.
  • If we close the service down while you have paid for time you have not had, we refund the unused part without being asked, and any credits you bought and have not used, at the price you paid for each. We refund those credits the same way if we close your account for a reason other than a breach of the terms.
  • Free plans. A plan that is free with an early access code, a creator account and a tester account’s 30 days of Starter charge nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Accounts we close for breach. If we close an account for breaking the Acceptable Use Policy (account sharing, scraping, resale) there is no refund.
  • A subscription started before 24 October 2026 keeps the terms it was started under: its first payment can still be refunded if you ask within 14 days of that payment.

Nothing here takes away a right you have under the law where you live. If your local law gives you a right to cancel or be refunded, that right wins and we will honour it.

03Telling us about a charge

Write to [email protected] from the address on the account and say which charge you mean. We answer within two working days and we do not make you speak to anyone to get an answer. By post: TRNCH LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, 10115 E Bell Rd, Ste 107 PMB 821, Scottsdale, AZ 85260-2189, USA. If you would rather talk, call 480-378-9708.

A refund we owe goes back through Stripe to the card or account it came from. Stripe releases it immediately; your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 working days. We cannot send it anywhere else, and we cannot make a bank move faster.

04If you are in the EU or the UK

Consumers there have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Access to TRNCH starts the moment you subscribe, and we do not ask you at checkout to waive that right, so if you are a consumer in the EU or the UK you keep it in full for the first 14 days, whatever the rest of this page says.

To withdraw, tell us within those 14 days: write to [email protected] from your account’s email address, for example “I withdraw from my contract for TRNCH, started on [date]”, with your name. You can use the EU model withdrawal form if you prefer, but you don’t have to. We refund every payment for that subscription, in full, within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card you paid with, and the plan ends then.

05Failed payments and price changes

If a payment fails

Stripe tries it again over the following days, and each time a try fails we email you a link to update your card. While the account is past due the paid features pause, but nothing is lost. If you cancel while it is unpaid, the plan ends at once, the unpaid charge is dropped and nothing more is charged. If it stays unpaid, Stripe eventually cancels the subscription. Either way you can start a new one whenever you like and your saved work will still be there.

If the price changes

A live subscription keeps its price until we say otherwise. Any increase is posted on the pricing page and in the terms at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to, and we email you the old price, the new price, the date it starts and how to cancel between 7 and 30 days before that renewal. Cancel before that renewal and you are never charged the new price. Your renewal date is on Plan and billing, in Settings. See the automatic renewal terms, which also say which emails we send you and that there is no reminder before each monthly renewal (a yearly plan gets one about 30 days before it renews).

06Chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong, write to us before you call your bank: a charge we made by mistake is refunded long before a bank closes a case, and a chargeback takes months and costs us a fee either way.

We do defend chargebacks we believe are mistaken, with the records of the subscription and the use of the account. When you dispute a plan’s payment with your bank, the plan is cancelled at once and does not renew; the rest of the period is not refunded by us, because the bank decides the disputed charge. Your saved work stays in your account. An account under an unresolved chargeback may be suspended until it is settled.
